Day is accountable to multiple agencies and clients to have fully qualified employees with up-to-date certifications and training.

With the myriad of documents and contacts needed for such a task, Day Group uses the Intelex Training Management System. It assists the Resource Group in tracking training, licensing, certifications and qualifications for employees and contractors.

The system provides automated notification of upcoming requirements to supervisors and personnel, in order to exceed regulatory compliance including satisfying the requirements of ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001. It provides concise reporting of training status at the press of a button.

SIM1Another valuable tool to Day Group is the state-of-the-art Driving Simulator.

It not only offers a realistic training environment but a safe one. This instrument assists Day in ensuring it hires the best drivers.

As a training tool, drivers learn to deal with emergency situations such as full brake failure, front tire blow out at highway speeds or driving in inclement weather.  Teaching accident avoidance and safety techniques is proven to save lives.
